Property Portal Share to Buy Hosts SOW 2020 Webinar Series

This Shared Ownership Week, Share to Buy, the country’s leading property portal for Shared Ownership homes, are hosting a series of educational webinars highlighting how the part-buy, part-rent scheme can help budding buyers take their first steps onto the property ladder, with guest speakers from some of the housing industry’s biggest names. 

Share to Buy is a one stop shop for first time buyers, offering a wealth of educational resources, including Mortgage and Staircasing Calculators, and the UK’s largest listing of Shared Ownership homes for sale from household names. 

Kicking off Shared Ownership Week, on Thursday 17th September, Jade Turnstill, Marketing & Communications Manager for Share to Buy, will host ‘What is Shared Ownership and are you eligible?’ Viewers will join Jade and an expert panel from housing providers Peabody and L&Q as they explore the government backed scheme and explain the eligibility criteria. 

Throughout the rest of the week, Share to Buy’s webinar series will also include ‘How much does Shared Ownership actually cost?’ – covering all of the costs involved with purchasing a Shared Ownership home and what to expect if you decide to continue your journey up the property ladder – and ‘Mortgage and Legal Advice, a deep dive into the Shared Ownership mortgage process with tips from mortgage brokers and solicitors on how to navigate the process. 

Each webinar will feature a panel of industry experts from the UK’s biggest housing providers such as Metropolitan Thames Valley, Network Homes, Peabody, and L&Q. Panellists will be on hand to discuss everything from deposits and monthly repayments to purchasing additional shares of your property through staircasing. Viewers will also be able to find out more about what properties are available from the housing associations and participate in live Q&As after each session, having their questions answered directly by the experts.
