Guinness Homes: London home ownership made easy with Shared Ownership apartments at Leaside Lock

Leaside Lock releases 48 affordable apartments for sale in East London

Guinness Homes’ impressive new East London project in Bromley-by-Bow has caught the eye with 48 brand new high-quality, yet affordable, apartments made available for Shared Ownership sale.

Leaside Lock is a new development to the area that will eventually see the creation of over 900 new homes, providing a vibrant riverside neighbourhood in the heart of sought-after East London, forming one of the most important regeneration schemes in the area since the 2012 Olympics.

These 48 stunning Shared Ownership apartments are now available to reserve off-plan and are due to be completed from October 2021.

James Chatt-Collins, the Head of Marketing & Sales for Guinness Homes, said: “Leaside Lock is an incredibly exciting development to be a part of. We’ve been delighted with how the project has come together – which provides high-quality homes via an affordable route in a real up-and-coming area. We’re now also able to offer anyone interested a tour of our Show Homes & Marketing Suite from our latest release. With the community being built and the amenity spaces on offer, Leaside Lock is one of the most appealing Shared Ownership developments in East London.”

Studio, 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments (with select apartments offering terraces and/or balconies) are just a short stroll from the River Lea, surrounded by independent shops, bars and restaurants. Plus, with Bromley-by-Bow station just a few minutes-walk away, you can experience all this amazing city has to offer and more.

All apartments benefit from a 999-year lease and start at £84,375 for a 25% share of a one-bedroom apartment. Guinness will be selling Shared Ownership shares from between 25 and 75 per cent, meaning that buyers will be able to get on the property ladder with a £5,000 mortgage deposit.

The Ground floor will have a lobby, post room and commercial premises. It will also feature a Marketing Suite and two show homes. When this development is finished, residents will have pedestrian access directly to and from the Bromley-by-Bow Underground Station, an on-site gym, independent café/restaurant, working spaces and rooftop terrace (CGI seen below).

Guinness will also be offering Help to Buy and Open Market sale homes in upcoming releases in 2021. Affordable home ownership in East London has arrived, at Leaside Lock.
